The Number Nobody Publishes
Cost & Payback Model
Every consultancy will tell you what it costs. Almost none will tell you what you are left with. This runs the money month by month — fees, tuition, rent, wages, tax — and shows you the position at graduation and at the end of the work permit.
Out Before You Land
CAD 20,585
₹13.4 lakh
At Graduation
−CAD 19,679
−₹12.8 lakh
After 12 Months Working
−CAD 7,012
−₹4.6 lakh
Month 0 is the day you have paid the fees, the tuition and the airfare. Earnings are shown after tax and after rent, throughout — including during the work-permit year, which is where most published models quietly stop deducting.
The Same Route, Two Ways Of Counting
As It Is Usually Presented
CAD 15,571
Gross earnings, and no rent deducted after graduation. This is the shape of the number you will be quoted.
What You Will Actually Have
−CAD 7,012
After tax, and after paying to live for every month of the period — including the work-permit year.
The difference is CAD 22,583 — about ₹14.7 lakh. That is not a rounding error or a disagreement about assumptions. It is rent and tax, left out.
What Leaves Your Account First
| Item | CAD | INR |
|---|---|---|
| Study Permit & BiometricsIRCC fees, paid at application | 235 | 15,275 |
| College Applications5 at roughly CAD 150 each | 750 | 48,750 |

| TuitionUsually payable in full or as a first-term deposit before the permit is issued | 13,000 | 8,45,000 |
| Consultancy & Test PreparationOur fees and your exam costs | 5,500 | 3,57,500 |
| Total | 20,585 | 13,38,025 |
Proof of funds is separate from all of this. IRCC requires you to show CAD 23,448 in living costs — ₹15.2 lakh — on top of first-year tuition and return travel, for applications from 1 September 2026. Money you have already spent on fees and airfare does not count towards it. Verified Sep 13, 2026.
In Plain Language
A written read of the figures above. It works from the calculated numbers only — it cannot look anything up, and it is not a substitute for advice from licensed counsel.
What this tool is, and what it is not
It computes published, public criteria. It tells you what the rules say and how your answers score against them. It does not tell you what to file, how to file it, or how to present your case — and no output from it should be read as doing so.
Under section 91 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, advising or representing someone for a fee on a Canadian immigration application is restricted to authorised representatives. We are not one. Where you need that, we refer you to our partner immigration lawyer, who is licensed to give it, and we take no fee for the referral. Full scope statement.
