Why This Site Exists
This industry runs on the fact that you can’t check the numbers.
An agent who is paid on placement has no reason to tell you that the diploma you are about to buy does not lead to a work permit, or that the route you are about to spend four years on is the slowest one available to you. The information is all public. It is simply tedious enough that almost nobody checks.
So we built the checking and gave it away. Every tool on this site computes the real published criteria and shows its working. You can run them, decide we are not needed, and leave. That is a legitimate outcome and we would rather have it than a client who found out later.
Three Things We Corrected
- 01Job offers are worth nothingArranged employment stopped carrying CRS points on 25 March 2025. Sites still promising 50 or 200 points for a job offer have not been updated in eighteen months.
- 02A business diploma has no work permitCollege credentials must sit in an eligible field of study. Business is not one of them. It is also the most commonly sold diploma in this market.
- 03Rent does not stop after graduationThe standard payback model counts a year of post-graduation earnings as profit and forgets you still pay to live. That single omission flatters the result by more than fifteen thousand dollars.
The Number Most People Plan Against
is the general round. It is also the wrong number to plan against.
Canada now runs ten category-based rounds, and they invite far lower. A candidate who reads the general cut-off and concludes they have no chance is making a decision on a number that may not apply to them at all.
| Category Round | Lowest | Highest | Rounds | What It Means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Physicians with Canadian Work Experience | 169 | 223 | 3 | The lowest cut-offs in the system by a wide margin. A licensed physician's arithmetic is unlike anyone else's. |
| Skilled Military Recruits | 368 | 368 | 1 | A small, specific category tied to Canadian Armed Forces recruitment. |
| French-Language proficiency | 382 | 420 | 10 | The largest category of the year by rounds run. NCLC 7 across all four French abilities is the entry ticket, and it is reachable from zero in about a year of serious study. |
| Senior managers with Canadian Work Experience | 389 | 429 | 3 | A narrow category, run rarely, but it cuts far below the general pool when it does. |
| Healthcare and Social Services Occupations | 467 | 475 | 3 | Nursing, medical laboratory technology, paramedicine and social work. The most common target for a diploma-route plan. |
| Transport Occupations | 470 | 470 | 1 | Commercial driving, aviation maintenance and logistics roles. |
| Trades Occupations | 476 | 477 | 2 | Electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, industrial mechanics. Pairs with a certificate of qualification, which is worth points of its own. |
| Canadian Experience Class | 507 | 523 | 17 | The number everyone quotes, and the hardest door in the building for anyone without Canadian work experience. |
Every figure in this table is pulled from IRCC’s published rounds of invitations — 60 rounds since Jan 1, 2026, last last changed Oct 13, 2026 and re-checked against the feed every morning. Nothing here is typed by hand. Cut-offs move round to round; treat these as bands, not promises. Provincial nominee rounds are excluded because their scores include the 600-point nomination.
Find Which Rounds You FitThe Tools
Six questions, answered properly.
Where We Come In
Then there is the work itself.
The tools tell you what is true. Acting on it is a separate job, and a long one — tests to sit, institutions to choose, applications to assemble, documents that have to arrive in the right order.
Information, not immigration advice, in any of the countries covered here. We provide education and admissions services; licensed immigration advice comes from our partner counsel.
What We DoTest Preparation
IELTS, TOEFL, GRE and GMAT, taught by someone holding a 114 and a 333 rather than a training manual.
Profile Evaluation & Route Planning
Where you stand against the published criteria today, which routes that opens, and what each one costs in time and money.
College & University Selection
Shortlisting against cost, admissibility and — the part most agents skip — whether the credential actually leads anywhere.
Application & Documentation Support
The administrative weight of a study permit application: forms, documents, deadlines, and the sequence they have to happen in.
Arrival & Settlement
Accommodation, banking, transport and the first month.

He teaches the tests himself. That is only worth saying because of the two numbers above it — a 114 on the TOEFL and a 333 on the GRE are the reason the test preparation here is not subcontracted to someone who has never sat one.
Run the tools first. Call us after, if the numbers say to.
A first conversation costs nothing and is not a sales call. Run the tools first and it starts from your actual numbers rather than from intake questions. If the honest answer is that the move does not repay the outlay in your case, you will get that answer.
