Founder and Lead Consultant

Anuvrat Mishra

An Indian Canadian who did this himself, on a full scholarship, and has spent a decade on the other side of it.

He topped his district in the 2005 high school examinations, out of a small town in Uttar Pradesh. A bachelor's in mechanical engineering followed, then a couple of years as a site engineer in Noida.

In 2013 he left for Canada on a full scholarship to read for a Master of Science, having scored 114 of 120 on the TOEFL and 333 of 340 on the GRE. Those two numbers are the reason he teaches the tests himself rather than subcontracting it.

He worked at several research facilities in Canada, as a data scientist on health data for a provincial government, and later as a mechanical engineer at a nuclear power plant in Toronto.

He is now an Indian Canadian operating out of India, which means he has been on both ends of this process: the student assembling an application from Lucknow, and the professional a decade into a Canadian career. Most consultants have only ever seen one of those.

Worth stating because in this market almost nobody does. Ask any consultant offering test preparation what they scored, and note how often you get a number back.

Why It Is Run This Way

Having been the applicant changes what you think the job is.

He assembled his own file

From a small town, without an agent, against a scholarship deadline. He knows which parts of this are genuinely hard and which are simply made to feel hard.

He then lived the outcome

A decade in Canada, in research, in provincial government, in a nuclear plant. He has seen what a given credential is actually worth in a Canadian hiring conversation, which is not what a brochure says it is worth.

He teaches the tests himself

The TOEFL and GRE preparation here is not subcontracted. The scores on this page are the reason that is worth saying.
